Description: Vintage CHRISTMAS Bentwood Tole Painted Box, Miniature Angel Ornaments, Austria Click images to enlarge Description VINTAGE CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS & BENTWOOD BOX Interesting and unusual vintage bentwood miniature box measuring 3-1/4" wide by 1-1/2" deep. Featuring charming hand painted floral tole roses and embellishments, underside bears the original label marked GESCHENKE FUR JEDEN ETWAS SALZBURG. Filled with five small carved wood ornies of little angels seated on clouds or quarter moons, they have star or bell drops, original gold cord and are hand painted on both sides. Condition of the ornaments is very nice with no damage - the box has a short vertical crack that does not show when the lid is in place - due to the wood being shaved so thin - could be easily glue repaired, but does not detract.
