Description: This is a really beautiful looking vintage antique wooden chess set. The chess pieces are complete. There are no checkers for the backgammon interior. Board measures 18" x 18" when unfolded and has beautiful little carved details, it's a really nice looking vintage set! The pieces are nicely sized- the king measures approximately 4" tall. Very little play wear- everything, board and pieces, look very nice ! Take a look I don't really see another one like this, the little details are very pretty and it's a very nice looking set for display. The pieces are carved lacquered wood with felt bottoms. I believe this set is approximately 50 or more years old judging by the other items I got from the same estate. Final sale!
