Description: Vintage Certina Waterking Swiss Manual Wind Cal.25-36 Watch - Needs Service Please read before buying; This watch winds & works however it’s quite stiff to wind and time keeping isn’t the most accurate. With a service this could easily be rectified. The movement itself looks to be in great shape so it should hopefully be a simple service. The top screw on the movement which holds it down is loose as shown in the picture, this also needs reattaching. About the watch & condition: Here we have a nice vintage Certina Waterking which is powered by a manual wind movement. It’s a great looking watch but as mentioned would benefit from a service. More details below: The watch has a lovely champagne coloured dial with nice indexes & hands. It’s in excellent shape and has a slight patina which gives it a little bit of age. There’s a few specs on the dial itself but these could be swept off easily if the crystal is removed. The crystal does have a few scratches, with a heavy polish you may be able to clean it up however it may be easier to swap it out completely. The watch has a nice stainless steel case that looks great. It does have some general wear though with some light scratches as you’d expect for any pre owned vintage watch. The crown on this watch is the original and has the Certina logo branded on it. It’s working fine winds fine and works just as you’d expect! The watch isn’t on its original strap and has instead been placed on a flexi bracelet. It works fine but there is some signs of wear, I think it would look much nicer on a leather strap. This watch is a mechanical watch, this means it needs to be wound for it to work. Please know this when buying! This is just for the watch, there’s no box or paperwork but this is quite common for vintage watches.
