Description: This is a vintage CASE 6254 CV “Trapper” pattern pocket knife.The tang stamp is the CASE XX USA 2006 stamp.The knife is 4-1/8” closed with brass liners and pins.The blade steel is CV (carbon) steel.Both blades have strong snap with no side to side wobble.The jigged red bovine bone handles have great color, no cracks or damage.A mint knife - never sharpened, carried, or cleaned, original factory finish and edges.No original box - the knife will be shipped wrapped in a new Case anti-tarnish wrapper and in a recent Case box.The handles on this knife were crafted from South American Zebu cattle shin bone. Genus/Species - Bos indicus or Bos taurus indicus.
