Description: This is a vintage Case 92042 R “Crown Penknife” pattern pocket knife. Hard to find version with the factory installed bail.The tang stamp is CASE XX USA 1965-1969.The knife is 3” closed (plus bail) with nickel silver bolsters, liners, and pins. The blade steel is CV (carbon) steel.Both blades have strong snap.Each blade is tight no wobble. The imitation pearl handles have no cracks or damage.Mint knife - never sharpened - each blade has the factory finish, factory edge.There is no original box, as when these knives were made, Case boxed knives in bulk, not individually.The knife will be shipped wrapped in a new Case anti-tarnish wrapper and in a recent Case box.
