Description: This is a vintage Case 2220 “Peanut” pattern pocket knife. The tang stamp is CASE XX USA 10 dot 1970. The knife is 2-3/4” closed with brass liners. Pinned oval CASE shield. The blade steel is CV (carbon) steel. Both blades have strong snap with half stops. The blades are tight with no side-to-side wobble. Smooth black composition handles have no cracks or damage. Mint knife - never used or carried, never sharpened. The blades each have the factory finish and factory edge.There is no original box, as when these knives were made, Case boxed knives in bulk, not individually.The knife will be shipped wrapped in a new Case anti-tarnish wrapper and in a recent Case box. These are hard to find in this condition - MINT with NO cracks!
