Description: I have come into a bunch of Zuni fetish carvings that I know very little about. But I'm absolutely fascinated and it's something I'd like to learn a lot more about. I'd like to learn about the artists and the stones and minerals used for the carvings as well as the meanings. Just love this little turtle. He's black and brown with little turquoise dots for eyes and ornamenting his shell. If you turn him over you can see just a suggestion of an open mouth carved. Just a little touch that I like. Signed Georgette Quam. About 1 by 1 1/2 inches and 1/2 inch high.
