Vintage Carl Zeiss Power Supply, Huge Metz 47 20 82 for Photomicroscope II

Description: Vintage Carl Zeiss Power Supply For Sale- a Vintage Carl Zeiss Power Supply as pictured. When I say vintage, it says on it Made in W. Germany and how long ago was that a thing? The power supply, presumably for a Zeiss microscope but possibly some other Zeiss optical device, was actually manufactured by Metz it would appear from the tag on the back, their model 47 20 82 it would appear. Output is in the range of 3-15 volts DC, 6 amps. UPDATE: I was informed that this was the controller and power supply for a Zeiss Photomicroscope II; hopefully that is accurate. I was able to find an AC cord to fit it and that is now included in the sale. As you can see it powers up and I was able to dial the output power up as shown on the meter in the pictures. At the back of the unit I measured 14.4VDC so it is putting out voltage. Whether it is the correct voltage or not I have no idea. Some of the buttons light up as pictured, others do not and when pushed pop back out as soon as you let go. Maybe they are just momentary switches? Given the vintage and the shipping costs involved and the fact that you can now see that it at least does power up you are buying it as is, no returns. If repairs are required they will be at your expense. All items are sold as is with no warranty offered unless one is specifically stated.
