Has High Brass Firefighter with speaking trumpet finial. Spectacular vintage metal fire helmet, a true gem for collectors of firefighting history! The helmet was manufactured in the United States, adding to its importance to any collector . The helmet photos shows minimal to no signs of use. Appears never used firefighting. Perhaps was a presentation. The helmet includes the liner and NO Chin Strap. Liner is excellent condition! From searching this helmet, I believe it was made about 1957. Says PAT. FEB 27, 1872. Again, it appears to be original condition with original black lacquer. Being the liner shows very little use I would say it was seldom worn. A true piece of American history that would add greatly to any display honoring the men and women that help save lives and property every day.
