Description: Vintage BULOVA Wooden Butcher Block Quartz Wall Clock 19" Wide ~ Runs Great!!This eBay listing is for a wonderful vintage Bulova wall clock that comes as you see pictured in the listing and noted above. This clock measures 19" across, 14" tall and 3.25" thick. The wood is thick and heavy and reminds me a lot of a butcher block!! The total weight of this clock is just under 14 pounds. This is a quartz clock and it runs on a single C battery (not included). I put in a battery about 8:00am this morning and it's now after 1pm in the afternoon and it's been running good and keeping good time but at times it seems a little slow or fast because the minute hand is a little loose and needs to be tightened up. The dial appears to be white porcelain over metal since it does hold a magnet. There were no model numbers or codes found on this classic Bulova clock. Age is unknown but I'm thinking it's from the 1970's era based on the Mid Century Modern design and the C battery that is needed to make it run and it reminds of vintage Bulova clocks made in Japan from this time period.
