Description: Vintage Bronze Moose – Cavin Richie - Ballou Reg’d Pin/Brooch Jewelry - Signed This Bronze moose is a Cavin Richie design and is signed Cavin and marked as Bronze. This piece is in great condition. The pin measures approximately 1 ¾” across and 1 ½” tall and weighs 15 grams. I have not attempted to clean so you will see some green patina in a couple places on the moose. A good cleaning will remove this. The brooch or lapel pin has 2 Butterfly Pin Backs. These are each marked Ballou Reg’d. They are both in excellent condition and hold well to their posts. Cavin Richie is currently retired. His pieces are considered wearable art and reflect his passion for birds, mammals and amphibians. His creations are very accurate and are a detailed miniature bronze sculpture. Please see all photos.
