Description: Vintage Boudoir Lamp Made in Germany Figural Courting Couple White Dog Porcelain Condition:This is a very old, vintage...and perhaps antique...boudoir lamp. It is made in Germany and marked 15985 and has perhaps an anchor symbol. It is porcelain that is hand-painted. It is a figural lamp with a courting couple. The man is holding a small, white dog and the woman was holding a fan, I believe, which has broken off. I have to say, it took me a while to realize she was missing her fan. It looks like she is simply holding a lock of her hair. They are dressed in yellow and pink clothes. It is a small lamp measuring 7" tall to the base of the light socket x 9.5" tall to the top of the socket x 4.5" long x 2.5" wide. It weighs 1 lb. It is in fair condition. There is the obvious missing fan, a crack in the base at the back of the lamp, some grime in the crevices, and no shade included. I would recommend replacing the wiring. But... with a little TLC, it can be a sweet addition to your home. Please see photos for specifics on the condition of this lamp.
