Description: Vintage BLUE & GOLD BIRD Spun Filament Tail Clip-On Glass Ornament #Y3161 Gorgeous blue and gold glittered bird. Purchased from the famous Harrods store in London in the mid 1990s. Measures approximately 7" long and stands around 2.5" above the clip Vintage pre-owned condition. The glue on the tail has come unstuck which means the tail can slip up into the body of the bird - I've shown in one of the photos what can happen. This is quite common in vintage birds with the spun tails like this. The good thing is that, because of how the tail is made, it can't actually fall out, it just means that it might need to be pulled out to its full length as you hang it on the tree.
