Description: Blenko #5517 free form bowl in Amethyst circa 1955-1957 with original sticker and price tag. (If you look closely at the price tag you can see the model number printed on it.) Three different examples were included in the catalog photos to show how they might look. Wayne Husted designed this bowl which was first introduced in the 1955 catalog and was available until 1960. During those years amethyst was available from 1955-1957 and didn't appear again until 1961 when this shape was no longer available. Condition notes: The bowl is in excellent vintage condition. There are straw marks at the surface in two places on the bowl (see pics) and bubbles are present.
