Description: This is a vintage Chinese wood stand or base with nice basic carved design. The color is black. The wood is dense and somewhat heavy. I believe that it dates to about the 1960's or so.The inside rim where the bottom of the bowl or vase fits is 5 1/2" in diameter. It is about 6 1/2" overall diameter, 2" tall. Hole in the center is where the cord went thru. It is perfect for displaying a vase, bowl, figurine or creating a lamp from a vase.
