Benner Glass Co, founded by Dexter Benner - based in Jacksonville, Florida; also manufactured out of Los Angeles - Siesta Ware was a very popular and distinct line which they manufactured. Offered here is a MATCHING Set of 3, VINTAGE Benner Glass Co, Opal-White, Milk-Glass Mugs – with Graphics of Playing-Card Suits (Clubs, Hearts and Spades) - in excellent, gently-used condition – with some age appropriate wear. There are NO obvious chips, cracks, nor flea bites; minor scratches and wear to the glass. The glass of these Hot-Beverage MUGs have great translucence & weight. Their outer top-colour surfaces are highly-shiny and clean; the inside surfaces of each Mug and their bases are highly-glossy. The Metal Bands show some loss of gold-tone The Wood Handles have a bit weathered-wear but still very nice. These Mugs are FLASH-COATED with an opaque WHITE Top-Coat of colour over the opal-white, milk-glass. There are VIBRANT, RED or BLACK Colour Graphics applied over this fired-on White-Colour top coat. The Graphics are crisp and clear - the same pattern is applied to both sides of each Mug. The gold-tone Metallic Bands are attached securely, by a removable screw, to the solid, stained-wood (sealed with a bees'-wax coating), stylized handles. Handy for cleaning and maintenance. Each Mug measures - 3 1/4" top edge diameter, 4 3/8" across the top edge to the back of the handle; 3 1/4" in height; 2 7/8" across the bottom rim.
