Description: Vintage Bathing Costume. Take your beachwear back in time with the 1920's Bathing Suit Costume for Women! This blast from the past features a black and white striped one piece with ruffle trim. This beach outfit seems a bit much for us now a days, but this was considered slightly scandalous! The tag says “Scandals” and was most likely pre-Reis Scandals. This costume is in great wearable condition. There are a few “pinkish” areas where the dye from the red trim bled into the white. There is a tiny spot that has come un-stitched yet could be easily re-stitched. Let me know if you would like me to re-stitch it for you. This bathing suit was found in my grandmothers collection.
