Description: This Baby Coos doll is a vintage, limited edition collectible from the USPS Commemorative Stamp Doll series "Classic American Dolls" part of the Designer Guild Collection. The doll stands at 12 inches tall and 9" sitting. She was originally designed by artist Bernard Lipfert, often called "The Dean of American Dollmakers". She was modeled after his granddaughter Linda. Numbered on the back of neck 1478/5000. Her eyelashes are not in good shape and she has a scratch on the top of her head (see photos). She was owned by a doll collector and was displayed in a cabinet behind glass in an airconditioned room in a smoke free home.
