Description: Vintage Artisan Miniature Dollhouse Polymer Tzar Peter the Great Doll SIGNED A One-of-a-Kind Masterpiece: Introducing a hand-sculpted clay masterpiece depicting Peter the Great! This unique creation, crafted by the talented miniature artisan Alla Domboski from polymer clay, brings the legendary Tsar to life in breathtaking detail. (I have included a picture of the painting of Peter the Great for comparison!) The doll's face captures the essence of Peter the Great, from his trademark black mustache to his piercing eyes that seem to hold the vastness of his empire. His shoulder-length black hair is meticulously sculpted, framing his determined features. Peter is adorned in a regal olive green velvet jacket, boasting striking red cuffs. Beneath the jacket lies a matching green silk shirt, meticulously detailed with tiny brass buttons. Black trousers and tall black leather boots complete the ensemble, reflecting the Tsar's military prowess. THIS DOLL HAS TRAVELED THOUSANDS OF MILES JUST TO BE HERE...READ HIS STORY. *This fabulous miniature doll belonged to, Madame 'Y', who lives in Kanagawa, Japan. For many years I have enjoyed a friendship with Madam Y. Her love of miniatures and her vast knowledge of artisans was something that we enjoyed talking about. Over the years I watched in awe as her collection continuously grew, she even had to expand her beautiful home on the sea just to house her collection of some of the finest miniatures in the world. When she decided to sell her collection, she contacted me so that I could tell her story and the story of each piece she has acquired, over all these years. Her hope is to find a home and share the story of every single piece. We have just begun to receive the boxes, all wrapped so well as they were all very special to her. She wanted others to know these incredible artisans, many she has met in person, from countries all over the globe and it is her hope that you will get to know them too, as we list them one by one.
