Description: Antique or vintage miniature travel pocket shrine of the Virgin Mary with a leather storage/protective pouch. Pouch is black leather with a snap closure and measures 1.5” long and a 1/2” wide. Mary statue is an unknown metal, silver tone, 1 1/8” tall. Could not find a maker’s mark. These were often kept in soldiers pockets during WWI and WWII. The Virgin Mary statue is in very good condition with light wear due to age. The pouch is in good condition, snap is intact, and has a bit more wear due to use and age. Please see photos for details and as part of the description.
