Description: This is a antique vintage one piece hockey stick made by Lovell Manufacturing Company out of Erie, Pennsylvania. I believe this stick to be from the 1920s as that is when they stopped making one piece solid wood hockey sticks. After the 1920s the blades on hockey sticks were from a separate piece of wood that was then attached to the shaft. This stick is in great condition and pretty much new, I believe the tape on the blade was from the manufacturer. One side of the shaft is stamped with Lovell Mfg. Co. Erie, PA and the other side with It’s a LOVELL. There is also a stamping on the bottom part of the shaft which reads “LEFT”, I believe this may indicate the shot of the stick although the blade is pretty much straight with next to no curve. One side of the blade is stamped with College, after some research I believe that to be the model of the stick. Stick measures 64” from toe of blade to top of shaft, shaft itself measures around 55 1/2”. There are no cracks or breaks in this stick as it is in incredible shape for its age. Feel free to message with any questions.
