Description: I got this wonderful antique sign from a woman in Michigan whose home had been a gas station many years ago. When she was trying to remodel it and took up the old flooring she found this sign under the floorboards. Apparently it was handy when someone tried to repair a hole and so they just nailed it in. She said that this technique had been used on the walls too when she found dozens of metal cans flattened and nailed inside the walls to the provide insulation.This a great sign with an interesting back story.
