Description: This Vintage 50s Korium Black Forest Germany Dragon Claw Hunting Knife is in fair condition overall and shows signs of age, storage and use. The blade is marked "KORIUM BLACK FOREST GERMANY." Strong evidence of use and age from storage are present on the blade although a relatively clean edge remains. Sadly, one side of the crossguard has been broken off and lost. The stylized metal handle still retains a nice amount of original silver finish and the "Dragon Claw" pommel is clean. The leather sheath is unmarked and is not original to this blade. The leather is in good condition and no signs of dry rot or other damage are present though traces of age and storage are present. Some of the stitching appears to have been lost but the sheath is sturdy and functions as you would expect. The leather is in fair condition and shows age and wear from use. There is a classic German hunting scene stamped on the sheath depicting a Stag on a mountain top, a very common motif for export hunting knives made in the 50s and 60s. Please examine the photographs carefully for the best description of contents and their condition.
