Description: 1940’s Cocktail Dress. It's the quintessential "Little Black Dress". Jet Black (I did lighten photo to highlight details) Crepe fabric ( Wool Crepe most likely). The jewel neckline and the bodice are adorned with tiny gold beads, tiny bronze rectangular beads, and prong set white rhinestones.There are many details such as vertical pleats on back bodice, diagonal bust darts, narrow vertical pleats on either side of zipper below waist, 5 covered buttons from neck to waist, metal zipper 7" zipper from waist down, sleeves have 2 snaps at wrist and underarm gussets. There are no labels. Measurements are above except for sleeve length, which is 20" from shoulder seam. This dress is in excellent condition. Please see my other listings for more vintage clothing.
