The item ships in a cardboard box with substantial padding, to prevent damage in transit. PLEASE NOTE: Unlike too many other sellers (in my experience, anyway), I SHIP FAST – oftentimes on the same day as the purchase (depending upon the time of day of the purchase). I also ship on Saturdays, if you make your purchase before noon. And, unlike too many sellers from whom I made my own purchases, when I say I ship, I don’t mean that I pack your item, print up a label and then just sit on it until it’s convenient for me to go to the post office.
