Using a bright light to shine through its semi translucent color, it looks like the bracelet was originally a clear red color whose patina has darkened to its current mahogany color as the patina has aged. (See photo #5) The bracelet has been decorated with a lovely vine and leaf carved design that circle the center of the bracelet. It has a 2.5" interior diameter and weighs 24 grams. This vintage Bakelite bracelet is in excellent condition and its authenticity was confirmed using Simichrome polish. (See photo #10) No chips or cracks in the bracelet were noted.
