Description: This vintage animated singing Gemmy Big Mouth Billy Bass is the 1999 version, and is in great shape. While it has been sitting for a few decades, the main gear has been replaced, and the train of gears have been lubricated and the motor serviced to ensure long lasting functionality. Many of these that are "working" are unlikely to keep working once you get them into your home. The rubber is fully intact, but please examine all photos to ensure it meets your condition needs. Gemmy originally shipped these with a plastic barrier between the rubber of the fish body and the plastic of the faux wood plaque. Because the two materials are incompatible, the plaque will literally start to "melt". The excess melted plastic has been cut off, and the exposed areas have been roughly color matched, and the areas shown for complete disclosure. While these areas are rarely every shown, every single one of these models has this issue, even if the listings don't show it. They barely show when running, and they don't show at all when stationary, but I have an extra attention to detail, and have taken steps to alleviate the symptoms. These are great man cave pieces, and work as a fine motion sensor anywhere you want to place them. Stick one in your garage, and if you hear the fish singing in the middle of the night you might have a problem. Stick on in the back yard. I've seen them attached to trash cans, and they have scared aware animals, including bears. Put one on the fence outside your hard to freak out passersby on your sidewalk. Get weird. Get 20 and place them all in a row. :) These run on 4 (C) batteries, or a 6v standard sized AC Adapter available everywhere.
