Description: VINTAGE 1982 SUSAN MARIE MCCHESNEY TILE ART ROOSTER & HEN TRIVETS LOT OF 2 You are viewing two collectible and vintage 1982 Susan Marie McChesney Tile Art Rooster and Hen Trivets, Lot of 2. These two tiles may be used as hot plate holders (trivets) or wall hangings. There are two round hangers on the reverse side of the trivets. One trivet depicting the hen laying three eggs is inscribed, “This kitchen is seasoned with love.” The second trivet depicting the crowing rooster and morning sun is inscribed, “Good morning sunshine.” Both trivets are filled with color and brightness. They would complement any kitchen area and may be used as a housewarming gift or for personal display or utilization. The tiles measure approximately 7” X 7” inches. These items were approximately 12 oz. each. These collectible and vintage items are pre-owned and show signs of moderate wear from use and storage. There are scrapes and scratches on the wooden surface all over the frames. The wear enhances their vintage, yet homey appeal. The tiles themselves are in good condition with normal wear. There are no noted cracks or chips. The wooden frames could use additional cleaning to brighten the look of the wood.
