Description: Vintage original poster for a Tropicana '82 party at Studio 54. Presented by Michael Fesco with music by Richie Rivera. Measures about 11.5" x 18". Michael Fesco was a promoter who created the first gay club in NYC, The Saint. He was behind the first Black and White Parties, Flamingo, the Ice Palace in Cherry Grove, Sea Tea and many other nightlife ventures. "He and his work redefined the way we experience LGBTQ nightlife today," according to The Saint Foundation. Good condition as shown. Still very colorful. The long fold is just beginning to tear as shown. Displays really well. An attractive piece of history that will add to any collection or wall. I ship every day the post office is open with your items safely packed. I am always happy to combine shipping. Please see my store for other museum quality historical artifacts.
