Vintage 1976 Avon American Bicentennial Blue Glass Mt. Vernon Commerative Plate

Description: Vintage (1976) Avon American Bicentennial Blue Glass Mount Vernon Commerative. The plate is approximately 9.25 inches long and 6.75 inches wide. The center has an image of Mount Vernon (George Washington's home) deeply embossed in it with the words "Mount Vernon" embossed along the top edge of the plate; "George and Martha Washington" along the bottom and two curved logs on each end. "Avon" is embossed on the backside under one of the logs. This is part of Avon's 1976 series of collector plates issued in honor of the 200th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America.
