Description: ITEM DESCRIPTION: Vintage 1970s Yema for Avante / Valjoux 7734 Silvertone & Stainless Steel Big Eye Dive Chronograph WristwatchThis watch measures approximately 39 mm in diameter and 46 mm in total length including the lugs. The lug width measures approximately 20 mm. It is one of many sporty chronographs that Yema produced in the 1970s.The black "big eye" dial is in very good condition overall with light patination in the subdials; it is signed "AVANTE 17 JEWELS INCABLOC" - see photos.The case and bezel are in very good condition with some normal wear - see photos. The case back is signed "STAINLESS STEEL BACK WATERRESISTANT 311122" - see photos. The crystal is in good used condition - see photos. The red nylon and leather strap is a replacement - see photos.The Valjoux movement is signed "SEVENTEEN 17 JEWELS R 7734" - see photos. Sets and winds smoothly. The chronograph functions work and the date advances as it should.
