Description: Here for your consideration is a vintage original oil on canvas geometric abstract painting in its original frame. It's signed lower right Winnie and dated 79. It's also signed again upper right with initials and what looks to be a Japanese signature possibly. The painting is in very good condition with no chips or missing paint. There are a couple of stretcher bar marks along the bottom edge and right edge of the painting that do not detract from the painting but mentioned for accuracy. The painting can be hung vertically or horizontally. It is currently set up to be hanging vertically. When viewing vertically, to me, it looks like nude figures in the geometric shapes, with a seated woman in the center of the painting. The reverse side is another painting depicting a waterfall in a landscape with vibrant colors. Framed in what appears to be its original wood frame that is black and gold. The frame does have some chips and rubs that look great with the art. The painting itself measures 30" x 23 1/4" with framed dimensions of 33 1/2" x 26 7/8". Great vintage original art for the Mid-Century Modern MCM decor or for the Geometric, Abstract, Expressionist, Cubist art collector.
