Vintage 1970's Framed Oil Painting Signed by Artist 'Deter' Girl By Waterfall

Description: Item Description: Framed original oil painting on canvas from the 1970's. Undated, but we can assume it’s from the 1970's based on the estate it came from and other art pieces that were acquired at the same time. Subject is a girl in a pink dress with a parasol standing by a series of waterfalls. Signed by the artist, 'Deter.' Solid (painted) wood frame. Includes wire picture hanger with two eye hooks on the back. Measurements: The painting on its own is approximately 8" x 10". Including the frame, it is approximately 16.25" x 18.5" with a depth of 1.5". Condition: In good overall pre-owned vintage condition. The wood frame shows normal signs of wear, including scuffs, marks and nicks. The fabric 'burlap' border has some areas of staining, mostly concentrated on the right vertical side and along the bottom. The back of the painting has a section at the top where the canvas is torn off of the wood frame, but this is not visible from the front. The painting itself has two tiny spots of missing/chipped off paint (on the lower waterfall) and a hairline vertical crack in the paint through the girl in the pink dress. There are also a few areas of paint 'crazing' that are difficult to see with the naked eye. The colors are still vibrant and beautiful.
