Description: Vintage, Original, Unused… 1970 SPIRO T. AGNEW ‘Hostility’ Dartboard Nixon Vice President Political Memorabilia Made by R. L. Sampson Enterprises Ltd. of Endicott, N.Y. This is an original, vintage, still partially sealed unused dart board with Spiro Agnew’s face illustrated in a very midcentury modern art style with the caption “ET TU SPIRO!”. It includes 3 darts attached to bottom corner of board in little holder. This dartboard caused a lawsuit and some controversy when the manufacturer decided they would still sell the product after Agnew’s lawyers comtacted him, as reported in the New York Times in 1970. Measures 16” x 16”. Here is a caption from a press photo (inlcuded in photos for reference, not included with dartboard) where the manufacturing company’s president holds this dart board smiling at the controversy it caused: “QUESTION-Richard L.
