Description: You are purchasing a Pre Owned - Vintage 1968 RDF Plastic "Deputy Watchdog In Santa Claus Suit" Figural Coin Bank. The item is in good condition for its age. Made completely of a hard molded plastic material, it is free of any cracks, chips, or major imperfections. Minor flaws are present from age and use in the form of dirt, staining to the piece as well as minor paint loss, but altogether it is in good condition and they do not take away from it at all. The piece is nicely detailed and features what looks like a "snoopy" type of dog design. The head rotates 360 degrees around and it features a rubber sort of material for the textured ears which have some flexibility to them. Also, the head appears to be removable which should be the way to remove the coins. The body has no articulation in it but, is nicely detailed and acts as the coin collection portion of the bank. A small slot exists on the back portion of the piece. Lastly, the dog comes fitted in a felt type of fabric "Santa Claus" suit which features a hat, jacket, belt, and trousers. Remove head to extract coins. Altogether makes for a great gift for collectors. Please see pictures for condition issues.
