Description: ***********The AS 1802 manual wind movement keeps accurate time over an approximate 43 hour power reserve period. Given the movement's unknown service history a complete overhaul is likely long overdue and recommended. This is a midsize watch, measuring approximately 33 mm excluding the crown, approximately 35.5 mm including the crown and approximately 17.5 mm between the lugs.***********This unisex vintage 1960's Le Jour, which came from the estate of its original owner, has a silvery champagne satin "T SWISS MADE T" signed dial that is in lovely but not perfect condition as it shows wear. The lume, which remains intact, emits a quick burst glow after being exposed to bright light. The all stainless steel case shows honest wear with no visible signs of brassing. Between the lugs at 12 o'clock is the stamping "HONG KONG." The outer edge of the case back is stamped "ALL STAINLESS STEEL | ANTIMAGNETIC | SHOCKPROTECTED" with "1318" stamped in the center. The inside of the case back is stamped "PILEX CO. CASE MADE" followed by "IN HONG KONG." The crystal shows scratching. The 17 jewels unadjusted Swiss "LE JOUR TIME CO" stamped AS 1802 manual wind movement keeps accurate time. After recently winding the non-screwdown crown 22 full revolutions the movement had an approximate 43 hour power reserve period. The crown winds with an appropriate amount of tension. Given the movement's unknown service history a complete overhaul is likely long overdue and recommended. This watch measures approximately 33 mm excluding the crown, approximately 35.5 mm including the crown and approximately 17.5 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the fixed bezel, is approximately 6.5 mm. Including the crystal thickness measures approximately 9 mm. This watch comes on a lightly used 18 mm black leather band. A complete overhaul is recommended. As such there are no warranties, express or implied, attached with the sale of this watch.
