Description: Vintage 1960s AE Type 182 rotary telephone. This Princess style phone is the MONOPHONE in white. Phone is marked on the bottom: Type 182 Monophone AUTOMATIC ELECTRIC NORTHLAKE, ILL. MADE IN U.S.A. and has the date (?) 11-60-5, NB825 CM. This is a 110v phone, but the power cord has been cut. On top of the receiver there is a metal brass tone plaque marked: 1926 - C.E. HOY - 1962 and the front of the phone has one that's marked: In recognition of valued service as member of General Telephone Co. of the N.W. Board of Directors. Phone can sit on a flat surface or be mounted on the wall. Phone comes with hardwired curly cord & long cord with Bell System wall plug. I am selling this phone for decor or parts, I am not sure if it works, it has a thin crack on inside of the handpiece & really needs a deep cleaning (there are stains and sticker remnants). See pix for more condition details.
