Description: This calendar is one in a series of these Hall of Fame calendars that are hard to find. And when found, they are usually quite damaged. This 1951 calendar depicts Lou Gehrig in the background. Most of these calendars that I have seen were themed by use of one of the game's greatest players. This one measures approximately 20" x 37" and has wonderful bright colors. Only the month of December remains of the calendar pad. These calendars are wonderful wall hanging display pieces, and you rarely see them; they are hard to find in the decent condition this one is. Just framing these costs hundreds of dollars.
