Description: Up for sale is a late 1940’s early 1950’s Riddell RT-2 Clear Shell Gold with brown center Football Suspension Helmet made of Tenite. The helmet shows use with scrapes and scratches with a lot of oxidation of the gold paint that has turned green(see photos). The helmet is slightly warped in the back and has a # 1 that has flaked away(see photos). There is one small crack on the right side above the jaw pad area( see photos). The helmet comes with a one bar MacGregor facemask. The helmets interior pads are in great shape for its age. The helmet is intended for display purposes only and not to be used. The hat stands in the photo are not included with the sale. Please look over all photos and ask questions prior to purchase. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
