Description: This is a Great lot of 3 Vintage Unused Cardboard Travel Chess or Checker Game Sets. The 1st 1941 Game has duo graphics on the 5” cardboard board, with “Checkers and Chess” on one side, and a game called “Chek Mate” on the reverse side. There is a pull-out panel in the side, with all the game pieces, that has Never ben punched out. Makers info on the edge of the pieces panel says “1941 DIC NY”. The game is in Near Mint condition, with almost no apparent wear. The next 2 sets are duplicate Matchbook” games called “Checkers”. Made by Ed-U-Cards, the large 3 ¼” x 4” matchbooks, have a game board on the inside front panel flap, and 3 cardboard cards of unpunched game pieces, where the matches would normally be found. Game instructions & rules is on the back of the outer cover. Both sets are in excellent condition, with no apparent wear. As a Bonus, I’m including another Matchbook Game titled “Pick-Up-Stix”. Also made by Ed-U-Cards, it is similar to the Checker games, but the inside holds 3 cards of unseparated cardboard sticks. They pretty much look like matches with no heads!
