Be aware, this was my father's glove and he did carefully mark his name onto the leather along the pinky edge, probably with a soldering iron. It's not very visible as the leather has become very dark, and personally I don't think it takes any charm away from the glove- it was a well-loved and well-used piece of sports gear back in his day. As for my reasons- well, he had a lot of stuff. But it was his stuff, not mine. I'd rather just have the memories than all the stuff. Maybe someone out there is looking for a cool old glove that will bring back their own memories of playing catch with their dad, or just someone into vintage baseball gear. I think it's cool that it only has two finger pockets and still fits and works well.
