Description: Vintage 1940s Silk Rayon Floral Print Dress Navy Blue Daffodils Short Sleeves . Here we have an authentic 1940s dress made from a floral printed silk rayon. The fabric is navy blue with vividly printed flowers including daffodils. The dress has a square neckline and short sleeves. It is fitted at the waist with asymmetrical pleats into the waistband. The skirt falls midi length and tapers slightly. The label in the center back of the dress reads "Diminutives." There is a metals side seam zipper that works well. There is thread chain loops for a belt but we no longer have the original belt. There are shoulder pads sewn into the shoulders but they could be removed. This dress is in good condition considering its age. Some stitching is coming undone on the front seam of the left shoulder.
