Description: Please email with any questions. Circa 1940's stage apparatus pillory from a magician's estate, attributed to Abbott Magic of Colon, Michigan. Wood construction, red and black painted surface with gold Chinese characters, breaks down fairly small. The neck hole measures about 16" around. We are a little puzzled about the long bolts through the hand and neck openings- one of the bolts is actually a tight spring and is flexible. Maybe they were simply to keep the halves together when not in use.
