Made in 1940 by Standard Toykraft Products, Inc., New York. The graphics on the lid of the box are adorable. Black background with a red and blue border and little colorful drawings scattered around. So cute for those who collect vintage toys, vintage classroom items, or vintage graphics and ephemera. This box came from the collection of my first grade teacher after she passed away. It was displayed (and well loved) in my own homeschool class room for many years. It's time for it to find another home. The set is in good condition, considering it was made in 1940.
