Description: Vintage 1936 Pre-war Gibson Black L-00 acoustic guitar == BG-3700 Factory Order Number impressed in upper back of peghead, dating 1936 == My Galloup-trained luthier friend (John McDonald "McLuthiers" in Lubbock) just glued/cleated several top cracks, glued two top braces, lightly dressed the frets, and installed new Extra-Light strings -- And... == This guitar has a near-perfect neck set and the lowest action I've seen on an "L" model at 3/32" 12th fret low E and just under 1/16" high E -- if you play with a heavy right hand you might even want to raise the high E 1/64", plays well all the way up the neck -- pretty fat V neck profile, 1 3/4" nut width -- == VG 7/10 condition, not back or side cracks, no curved top bellying -- strap button not original, all-original otherwise, bridge appears re-glued -- cosmetically, lots of wear as shown but a nice glossy overall appearance == Sounds darn good like it should, one of Gibsons' best vintage guitar models == Includes new hardshell case == This one scores a "Dave's 5-star Pick!" == If you are considering a purchase, please take a minute and read our feedback !!!We strive to achieve 5 star service !!
