Description: A vintage 1930s hat pin. The top round coffee-bean shape is tested as bakelite. The cone shape lover piece on the stem is not bakelite - most likely celluloid to keep the weight lighter. The pin is a silver coloured metal. The top bakelite piece has a dimple shape with a carved ridge in the centre. The bakelite is an orange to yellow shade with swirls in the centre. The cone shape is more yellow tone and runs from the head down the stem. Head measures approx 1 1/8 across. The yellow stem is approx 2 inches long. Total length 7 inches.
