Description: Vintage 1930s Donald Duck Pocket Watch English 1st version. Donalds wings rotate to point at the time. Made in Switzerland around 1937. It’s functioning / ticking / working (no guarantees for time keeping). Press to set wings. Case diameter approx 49mm Swiss Movement. Original paper dial. Original wings (with semaphore flags). Vintage low dome bevelled edge glass. There are marks, wear, corrosion and rubbing overall, commensurate with age and use. Note; these particular pocket watches open from the rear, there’s no front detachable bezel. The movement is also quite basic (noisy). Please see all photos, thanks. ——- These were Swiss made for an English firm in 1937, two years before Ingersoll produced their first issue of a Donald Duck pocket watch. Note the red and blue flags in Donald's wings. This distinguish them from a later model Donald Duck pocket watch (circa 1953), which have a blue and yellow flags.
