Description: Truly exceptional large hand-carved yellow Bakelite brooch manufactured between 1935-1942 depicting a goose in flight. Rare and highly collectible. Very Good condition, original clasp is fully functional, but missing sliding locking piece. Clasp shows U.S. Patent No. 2066969. A patent lookup reveals that it was applied for on Feb. 1, 1935 by one F. E.
