Description: You are bidding on a vintage 1930 1940s lot of 27 early plastic bakelite buttons of various styles. This is a great varied lot of bakelite buttons that range from smooth to cool designs in mostly round shape, 1 triangular and 1 snap top. in size from 1 5/16 in. diam. to 1/2 in. diam. This lot is in a variety of colors and designs. Most are the amber or tortoise shell color, and just present well. There are 3 that are a metal/bakelite combo, and the metal needs some polish and TLC to be restored. These were part of the collection of buttons that a seamstress in Los Angeles from the 1930s-1970s had accumulated and used for her work. It appears that she got most of her buttons from Lidz Brothers Button and Novelties in New York City. These are great pieces, and ready for any creation, so bid on these today!
