This beautiful and original piece is made of sterling silver and features a bicycle wheel with wings in high relief. Also in high relief is "New Bedford Cycle Drome" which was a famous race course of that era in Massachusetts. Those words are backed by red, white and blue colors. There is a loop at the top so the medal/pendant can hang. It's marked "Sterling" on the back and weighs .545 troy ounces/ 17 grams. It measures 1.25" all around. I took a photo of the medallion placed in the center of a dollar bill to give you an indication of size. Just a great and original piece of cycling Americana.
